What are we looking for?

    ~ Ability  to work 8-hour weekend shifts and also weekdays

   ~ Minimum of 18 years of age (must be able to obtain RAMP certification)

  ~ Positive attitudes, great work ethics, and team spirit!

No late hours ~ 

• Educational Requirement- High School Diploma/GED 
• Must be able to stand for 8+hours
• Must be able to withstand heat and humidity (we are a farm market)
• Must be able to twist, turn, reach, bend, and lift 20 pound consistently

Mechanic/Maintenance Farm

This is a Part-time position, approx. 24 hours/week (3 days) Must be able to work during weekdays.

JOB SUMMARY

Qualified candidates will need a broad background in auto, truck, & tractor repair and diagnostics. 

Must be able to accurately diagnose and complete repairs in an efficient and timely manner.

Tractor repairs include brakes, clutches, front end, minor engine repair, starting and charging systems.

Perform auto repairs and maintenance.

Suggest solutions to avoid downtime and always practice safe work habits.

Communicate with Farm Foremen as needed on the status of work in progress.

Keep accurate and up to date service records.

·         Knowledge of common auto, truck, tractor repair is required

·         Ability to complete repairs on a wide variety of equipment.

·         Valid PA Driver’s License with an insurable driving history.

·         Must communicate well and be able to provide information for project specifications.

·         Basic welding and fabrication skills would be a plus but not required.

·         Ability to perform physical requirements of the position (lifting up to 75+ lbs., bending, climbing, standing for duration of shift, etc.).

·         A Driver's License is required. CDL A or B preferred.

·         Effectively read, write & understand verbal instructions in English.
